This contract position offers an on-site working mode providing an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in the medical practice industry while delivering quality healthcare services to our patients.
As a Locum MD in Ob/Gyn you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive care to women addressing various health issues and ensuring positive patient outcomes. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to support the departments goals and enhance the overall patient experience in our practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct routine examinations and health assessments
- Manage prenatal postnatal and gynecological care
- Perform surgical procedures as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Stay updated on advancements in Ob/Gyn practices and technologies
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Michigan
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Strong clinical skills and experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development
- Previous experience in a locum or contract role is a plus
Level II Nursery
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Night and weekend call
38 beds
Average Monthly Deliveries: 20-25
Average Daily Census: 20 patients
Dedicated support staff
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
