Integration Lead Major Infrastructure Project (VIC)
A leading Tier 1 infrastructure delivery organisation is seeking an experienced Integration Lead to support a high-profile freight and logistics development in Melbournes west. This role is ideal for an engineering professional who thrives in complex multidisciplinary environments and enjoys driving cohesion across multiple project streams.
About the Role
You will be responsible for guiding the integration of civil rail structural electrical communications and operational systems to ensure the project functions as a unified whole. This includes overseeing interface management operational readiness plans asset handover frameworks and ensuring all technical elements align with project and contractual requirements.
You will work closely with engineering teams delivery partners subcontractors and government stakeholders to proactively identify risks resolve interface challenges and maintain clear communication across all project disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the projects integration strategy and interface management framework
Coordinate interactions between civil works track signalling power and communications
Oversee operational readiness planning and asset management documentation
Monitor progress prepare integration status reports and manage risks
Support testing and commissioning activities and confirm integrated system functionality
Work with stakeholders to confirm that technical safety and operational requirements are met
Maintain accurate records for integration decisions technical changes and audit compliance
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management or similar discipline
510 years experience on rail or major infrastructure projects
Strong background in systems integration interface management or operational readiness
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a complex engineering environment
Understanding of testing commissioning and operational transition processes
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
