Our client is a large ACT Government Organisation who are seeking PMO Lead to join their team.

As the PMO Lead you will work with the Senior Director ICT Portfolio Delivery to design setup and run CITs Program Management Office. The purpose is to ensure that CIT has effective and robust program delivery governance management artefacts processes and assurance for both program-based and BAU operational projects.

Key Responsibilities:

In conjunction with the Program Director lead the design and set-up of program management office establishing the PMO as a central function and best practice within the Digitalisation Office.
Ongoing management and continuous improvement of the PMO and reporting toolkit ensuring that the project delivery reporting capabilities to manage both BAU and program-based projects.
Establish consistent and measurable methods for the effective oversight and reporting of the performance of the program and its projects (i.e. health check/reviews).

Selection Criteria:

Knowledge of program management office processes and procedures particularly the ability to run and administer third party application systems designed to support the PMO function.
Proven abilities and experience in the development of a PMO function its processes and templates.
Practical experience/exposure to technical digital systems projects reporting of their status including financial oversight and reporting to senior stakeholders.
Knowledge and experience in the application of a recognised governance and project management methodologies and frameworks (e.g. P30 MSP PRINCE2) in an ICT or related environment.
