Certified Medical Assistant Primary Care-Clark and Madison Counties We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistantto work in our outpatient Primary Care program throughout Clark and Madison Counties. This position will provide administrative and clinical support for the primary care clinics. The Medical Assistant will manage the flow of patients through the clinic and coordinates the paperwork scheduling and pre-visit data for patients. This position may work with both adult and youth populations.
This is a FT position working Monday-Friday 1st shift no weekends or holidays. Staff may rotate between Main Building Primary Care on High Street and Madison County offices.
Candidates must have:
- High school diploma orequivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Phlebotomy experience and/or certification required
- Previous experiencein medical office billing and EHR preferred
- 1 year of experience in mental or behavioral health preferred
- Valid OH Drivers License and able to be covered on MHS insurance liability policy (Clean driving record)
MHS provides CPR/First Aid and NVCI (CPI Blue) for all new staff along with on-going education and on-the-job training opportunities.
All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years or for working with children) 5-panel drug screen and residential candidates must have a 2 step TB (or proof of prior TB) upon conditional offer of employment.
