As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care supporting our existing healthcare team and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of medical services. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct examinations assessments and diagnostic procedures
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform necessary surgical procedures as required
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients on health and wellness topics
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in on-call duties as needed
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Virginia
- Experience in obstetrics and gynecology preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p
Daily Census: 20 patients
Procedures: Vaginal deliveries c-sections circumcisions hysteroscopies hysterectomies ovarian cystectomies D&C etc.
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
