Overview

Join our client as a Certified Medical Assistant where you will provide essential clinical support in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities

Performs blood draws injections child immunizations lab tests and other procedures within scope of MA certification

Assists physician in examinations including taking blood pressure pulse temperature and respiration

Keeps rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies

Takes and returns patient phone calls as directed by Physician

Gives instructions to patients as instructed by physician

Requisitions supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock

Assists with the maintenance of the medical record including completion of referral forms lab slips and other documentation

Assists patients getting to and from exam rooms and prepares them for exams

Assists with any nursing procedure as directed by the Physician

Works as a member of a team and is flexible

Qualifications

Required

Associate degree or higher
ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
