Are you a recent graduate in Mining Engineering or Computer Science looking to start your career in mining technology Join us as a MineStar Application Specialist and help transform the future of mining operations. Youll work with Cat MineStar Command for Hauling supporting autonomous haulage systems that keep fleets of CAT trucks running safely and efficiently.
This position is based at the Côté Gold Mine in Ontario working closely with a key customer. Your schedule will align with the customers roster and may vary based on project needs.

What Youll Do:
Support Autonomous Systems: Assist in implementing and optimizing MineStar Command for Hauling performance.
Champion Safety: Promote safety best practices in autonomous operations.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to projects that enhance mining efficiency and technology adoption.
Collaborate: Work closely with internal teams and customers to provide technical support and solutions.
Quality Assurance: Help with hardware/software installation and configuration ensuring QA/QC standards.
Analyze & Report: Collect data benchmark system performance and identify improvement opportunities.
What Were Looking For:
Technical Excellence: Interest in mining technology automation and data-driven solutions.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze challenges and propose innovative solutions.

Top Candidates will also have:
Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering or Computer Science.
Familiarity with mining operations or technology systems.
Exposure to programming networking or fleet management systems.
Additional Information:
This position is based at the Côté Gold Mine site in Ontario.
Transportation is provided via bus from either Sudbury ON or Timmins ON.
While on shift employees are provided with housing and meals.
Most MineStar Application Specialists work 7x7 day and night shift roster.
Domestic relocation assistance to Sudbury ON is available.
Sponsorship is not available.

Summary Pay Range:
$81600 - $101000Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
