Job Purpose

Astound Digital is looking for a Salesforce B2C Commerce Technical Architect (PWA kit and Composable Storefronts) to join our growing Commerce Practice. This is a strategic hands-on role for someone passionate about designing scalable enterprise Salesforce solutions while guiding clients through digital transformation. You will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients utilizing your deep technical knowledge to guide them through complex digital transformations. You will translate intricate business requirements into scalable high-performance technical solutions lead development teams and act as the subject matter expert for our Salesforce B2C Commerce ecosystem.

In this role youll get to:

Lead technical discovery workshops to understand client visions and business challenges.
Act as the primary technical advisor influencing clients strategic decisions on headless commerce architecture.
Translate business goals into detailed technical designs and development tasks.
Architect end-to-end headless e-commerce solutions on Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud with a focus on PWA Kit/Composable Storefront.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and solution blueprints.
Lead a team of developers providing technical direction and conducting code reviews.
Oversee the entire development lifecycle from design to post-launch support.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks ensuring a fast secure shopping experience.
Design and manage integrations with third-party systems leveraging deep expertise in B2C Commerce APIs.
Mentor team members and stay current with Salesforce B2C Commerce features and trends.

Required Skills:

5-7 years of experience in e-commerce architecture and development.
3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud.
Experience with full-cycle implementation of a headless storefront using Salesforce PWA Kit / Composable Storefront.
Expert understanding of Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud platform and data models.
Proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript (ES6) TypeScript HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with AI/ML services integration into e-commerce workflows.
Strong problem-solving analytical skills and communication skills.
Leadership and mentoring capabilities with a collaborative mindset.

Good to Have:

Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Architect and Developer certifications.
Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Knowledge of CDNs and web application security best practices.
Experience with other Salesforce Clouds and their integration with B2C Commerce.
