Total Weekly Hours:16.5 hours/week
Schedule:Monday to Friday6:45am - 9:45am
Pay Rate (per Collective Agreement includes wage grants):

RECE: $28.46per hour

Who Were Looking For
Qualifications:

Minimum 1-year experience working directly with children or in a childcare setting.
Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent (e.g. Child & Youth Worker Child and Youth Care OCT Recreation & Leisure diploma).

Certifications:

Standard First Aid with CPR Level C
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Proof of up-to-date immunizations (TB Tetanus MMR)

Skills & Knowledge:

Familiarity with How Does Learning Happen (an asset)
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement activities to support childrens cognitive physical social and emotional development.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Maintain an engaging and welcoming environment for children and families.
Complete documentation and meet Ministry of Education requirements.
Collaborate with Hamilton Wentworth District School Board faculty.
