Were looking for a Trades Apprentice / Maintenance Repairer to join our Facilities Teama hands-on dependable crew that keeps our buildings and equipment in top shape to support our organizations this role youll assist experienced tradespeople with repairs maintenance tasks and installations across a range of systems. Youll gain valuable skills while working on real-world projects and play an important part in keeping our operations running smoothly and safely. Minimum Qualifications

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Plumbing: Repair and install commodes lavatories water fountains and garbage disposals. Unstop sewer lines and drains repair leaks and repair / replace faucets.
- Electrical: Repair light bulbs. Repair / replace ballasts receptacles switches and fans. Replace motors pumps etc.
- Appliance Repair: Repair washing machines dryers ice machines and refrigerators.
- Carpentry: Repair doors door closers hinges cabinet doors knobs baseboards cabinets furniture door stops windows etc.
- Refrigeration: Performs preventive maintenance and maintenance on a/c units and air handlers. Clean coils; work on pumps to air handlers motors chill water valves controls belts and filters.
- Keep a check on hot water temperatures and maintain a log.
- Run and service generators and maintain a log. Inspects fire extinguishers monthly and maintains a log.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type:Job Appointment not to exceed 4 years.
Career Progression: This position may be filled as a Trades Apprentice Maintenance Repairer 1 or Maintenance Repairer 2.
Work Schedule:7:30 AM 4:00 PM Monday - FridayPASS DAYS:Saturday / Sunday
Compensation:Depends on Qualifications
