We are a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. We offer a wide range of services including general surgery and a 24-hour emergency department. At Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center we are able to bring you a wide range of services close to home provided by a network of board-certified physicians.
This Night Shift RN 1-2 position(s) is located in the Medicine Unit and provides professional nursing care to patients and/or clients.Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or a temporary permit or multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state to practice as a registered nurse.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Provides initial assessment and ongoing reassessment of patient including but not limited to biophysical psycho-social environmental self-care education and discharge planning factors.
Provide direct patient care in accordance with the scope of practice for a Registered Nurse.
Communicate and coordinate patient care with Charge Nurse oncoming nurse and other interdisciplinary team members.
Implement patient care treatments and provide medications at appropriate intervals as prescribed by doctors order.
Participate in staff development in-services based upon assessed learning needs.
Participate in unit meetings quality improvement activities and orientation of new RN or subordinate staff members. Accept delegated Charge Nurse duties.
Attend Educational In-Services Mandatory Training and Annual Review as required by hospital policy and procedure or deemed necessary by supervisor.
All other duties as assigned include ensuring departmental coverage.

Compensation:This position receives additional pay for every hour worked as follows:
Special Entrance Rates (SER):
RN2 $27/hourShift 2 -- $3/hourShift 3 -- $4.60/hourWeekends --$4.60/hourHolidays --$4.60/hourCertifications -- $3/hour - (BLS and ACLS certifications are required (American Heart Association).How To Apply:
