Your Role:
As a Material Handler at Alleima you will be responsible for the overallday to dayhandling of hazardous andnon-hazardousmaterials throughout the plant ensuring efficient operations and accurate handling.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Solid waste drum management
Compacting to achievemaximumdrum capacity
Liquid waste handling and storage
Plating tank PH level checks and adjustments/water level
Assisting the EHS manager in preparing and moving drums to the pickup area
Weekly chemical inventory for the purchasing group
Loading and unloading materials from trucks operating forklifts and other machinery and ensuring safe handling of both hazardous andnon-hazardousmaterials
About you:
You are a practical problem solver with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with your organizational abilities make you a valuable team player. You are self motivated with a results driven approach andpossessexcellentproblem solvingskills. You have experience in lean manufacturing and 5S principles and you are forklift certified with general safety training and hazard communication training. Your ability to create a positive team culture andmaintaina safe clean environment will be crucial in this role. You willbe responsible formanaging the movement storage and handling of hazardous or non hazardous materials within the production floor ensuring efficient operations andaccuratehandling of hazardous waste safely.
