Essential Job Functions
- Serve as the main liaison between clients and internal operations teams ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals.
- Proactively manage client expectations provide regular performance updates and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of the clients supply chain business priorities and operational challenges.
- Lead regular business reviews presenting KPIs insights and strategic recommendations.
- Oversee day-to-day logistics execution within the 4PL model ensuring timely accurate and cost-effective operations.
- Monitor shipment performance capacity planning exception management and freight billing accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with client SOPs service-level agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze operational metrics to identify trends cost drivers and improvement opportunities.
- Identify process gaps and lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance efficiency reduce cost and improve service quality.
- Assist in onboarding new clients or expanding existing client scopes.
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time some light lifting may be required in some instances.
- Talking hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
Education & Experience
- 3 years of experience in logistics transportation or supply chain required
- 12 years of experience in a leadership supervisory or team lead role strongly preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Transportation Logistics Business Administration or related field (preferred).
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to lead teams and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
- Ability to analyze data make informed decisions and resolve issues with sound judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
- Professional certification may be required in some areas
