Pay Rate: $71.74/hour

Job Summary:

The Senior Ad Technology Operations Manager is a critical individual contributor on Databricks Global Digital Marketing team. This role sits at the center of the digital media ecosystem and is responsible for strategically managing governing and enabling the companys global AdTech and digital media technology stack.

This position blends deep AdTech expertise operational rigor and cross-functional leadership. You will partner closely with Digital Media teams and agencies to translate marketing needs into technical and operational requirements while coordinating with Marketing Technology IT Security Legal Finance and Procurement to ensure platforms are implemented and governed in a compliant scalable and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate can think strategically while remaining hands-on with how platforms workflows and integrations actually operate day to day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain a centralized global inventory of all digital media and AdTech platforms including tools contracts integrations users documentation taxonomies and renewal timelines.
  • Serve as the AdTech subject matter expert for shared and cross-channel platforms partnering with Digital Media Channel teams and agencies for deeper platform-specific expertise as needed.
  • Establish and manage global media taxonomies and governance standards ensuring consistent naming conventions documentation tooling and reporting across regions and channels.
  • Regularly assess the AdTech ecosystem to identify gaps redundancies scalability risks and automation opportunities aligning recommendations to business and channel priorities.
  • Lead the operational side of vendor evaluations and pilots translating marketing use cases into business technical and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate platform onboarding readiness and enablement to support smooth adoption and consistent usage.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to automate workflows across AdTech platforms including integrations data flows access management and operational processes.
  • Build and maintain enablement assets such as SOPs playbooks inventories and user guides to support visibility adoption and governance.
  • Provide ongoing visibility into stack health utilization operational risk renewals and cost efficiency.
  • Own procurement and renewal workflows end-to-end coordinating approvals across Legal IT Security Finance and Procurement.
  • Manage platform access permissions and global agency enablement in alignment with security privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Escalate risks compliance concerns and operational issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Recommend structural tooling and process improvements that strengthen governance improve efficiency and accelerate time-to-market for new digital marketing capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in Digital Marketing Operations Ad Technology Marketing Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience acting as an AdTech subject matter expert including platform evaluation integrations governance and automation.
  • Strong understanding of digital media platforms including ad platforms ad servers lead management platforms and supporting AdTech tools.
  • Demonstrated experience owning media taxonomies governance frameworks and technical documentation at scale.
  • Experience navigating procurement renewals and cross-functional approvals with Legal IT Security and Finance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate effectively in fast-moving highly cross-functional environments.
  • Strong project management organizational and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting B2B digital marketing environments.
  • Background in Marketing Operations or Senior Digital Marketing leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with global digital media ecosystems and agency models.
  • Experience driving operational automation and AdTech stack optimization at scale.
