Applications are invited for a joint appointment as Tenure-track Professor/Associate Professor in Global Monetary Policy at the School of Governance and Policy and the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 533848) to commence on July 6 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter on a three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract. The appointment rank will be determined based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Exceptionally outstanding candidate may be considered for appointment on direct tenure terms subject to the Universitys approval.

Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be expected to teach courses offered in postgraduate programmes related to monetary policy and/or quantitative research. He/She will also contribute actively to research and knowledge exchange programme development at postgraduate level and assume service/administrative responsibilities as appropriate.
Requirements
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in economics public policy or a closely related field; strong teaching and outstanding research experience in any relevant specialism of quantitative research in central banks global coordination of cross-border transmission management of global financial crises intersection of monetary and fiscal policy tools and governance of digital currencies among others; and an excellent track record in research scholarly publications and competitive external funding.
