Job Summary

Position Summary:

The Custodial Services Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and orderly environment throughout the facility. This role performs a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure all areas meet quality safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate is dependable detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas including offices restrooms hallways patient areas and common spaces.
Sweep mop vacuum dust and disinfect surfaces and floors.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Clean and sanitize restrooms replenishing supplies as needed.
Maintain cleaning equipment and report any repairs or replacements needed.
Follow established safety infection control and hazardous materials handling guidelines.
Restock supplies such as paper products soap and cleaning materials.
Assist with setup and breakdown of rooms for meetings or events as required.
Respond to cleaning requests in a timely and professional manner.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications:

Previous custodial or environmental services experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lift up to 30 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols.
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
Reliable punctual and able to work independently.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment:

Position involves standing walking bending and repetitive motion.
May require working around cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Must follow all safety and infection control policies especially in healthcare or high-traffic environments.
