DescriptionJon Ossoff for Senate is hiring fellows to join our team for Spring 2026. Our campaign seeks hardworking and passionate applicants across Georgia who are dedicated to helping re-elect Senator Jon Ossoff and we remain committed to building a pipeline of talented staff that represents the diversity of our state.
Our campaign fellowship program is targeted toward current undergraduate students or those who have recently graduated although college standing is not required. Applicants should be eager to learn and grow a skillset that includes community relations event planning and general political operations. Prior campaign experience is preferred but not required.
We have five fellowship programs available for the Spring 2026 semester across our political finance communications digital and research departments. Please find the job responsibilities application instructions and further departmental information below.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Political Department
- Support event logistics by helping track participation and offer in-person support
- Track and execute post-engagement follow-up efforts to ensure consistent communication
- Monitor and log incoming political requests invitations and community outreach efforts
- Conduct research to inform outreach strategies and identify new validators and partners
- Maintain tracking documents and databases to ensure accurate and consistent records
Finance Department
- Help with the development and execution of fundraising events including drafting and sending invitations creating invitation universes managing internal tracking and post-event data entry
- Develop call time preparation program corresponding with assigned region
- Expand donor base via prospecting within region
- Execute finance departments thank-you letter program
- Assist finance and campaign staff with additional duties as needed
Communications Department*
* This fellowship has a remote and hybrid option
- Assist with daily communications operations and administrative tasks as needed
- Monitor local TV coverage and news clips
- Maintain and update tracking materials press lists and inquiries
- Contact news stations regarding press events
- Take on additional duties and tasks as assigned and as the needs of the Communications Department evolve
Digital Department*
* This fellowship has a remote and hybrid option
- Assist with daily digital operations and administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist in writing first drafts of email SMS and ads copy; assist in email and SMS production.
- Help manage responses to digital fundraising texts and emails.
- Learn more about social media working with partners digital data and what goes into creating one of the largest digital programs.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned and as needed
Research Department*
* This fellowship has a remote and hybrid option
- Contribute to early morning daily clips social media review and media monitoring of Republican targets
- Transcribe and summarize media appearances and coverage relevant to the race
- Assist in long-term research projects and production of research documents
- Provide administrative support to the research department and take on additional tasks as needed
Mobilization Department*
* This fellowship has a hybrid option
- Provide assistance to train volunteers on relational organizing tools
- Travel to and table at in-person events in the Atlanta area to recruit Georgians to build our organizing program
- Assist the department in general administrative tasks including scheduling supply management and record keeping
- Provide supplemental support to Data department as needed
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and Skills
Applicable to all fellowship tracks:
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong understanding of Google services including Sheets Drive Docs and Calendar
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Interest in Georgia politics political campaigns or public service
- Ability to work collaboratively and take direction well
- Familiarity with NGP VoteBuilder or other campaign tools is a huge plus
- Georgia ties strongly preferred
This is a paid 8-week long program starting Tuesday January 20 and ending Friday April 24 2026 (An earlier start date may be available). Fellows will be expected to work approximately 10-20 hours per week on a hybrid schedule reporting to an office in Atlanta Georgia differing to departmental needs. Preference will be given to those with Georgia ties.
