Job Summary

JOB OVERVIEW

An innovative and fast-growing organization is seeking to hire a highly experienced and strategic leader to join their team as the Director of Project Delivery. This is a search for a results-driven professional with a proven track record of managing complex large-scale projects. The Director of Project Delivery will oversee the full lifecycle of high-value projects ensuring exceptional quality cost efficiency and timely completion. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader. With strong technical expertise capable of coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the planning execution monitoring and handover of multiple projects across various sites.
Develop and manage work programs ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and industry standards.
Coordinate effectively with technical teams consultants contractors and suppliers.
Identify risks and implement timely mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.
Prepare structured weekly and monthly progress reports and performance dashboards.
Ensure compliance with safety quality and regulatory standards across all operational activities.
Oversee commercial documentation including variations material requests and claims.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement meetings to support key project decisions.
Provide leadership coaching and performance management to project teams.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation permits and reporting records.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field; masters degree is an added advantage.
Minimum 10 years experience delivering major construction or infrastructure projects.
Evidence of successfully delivering at least five complex high-value projects.
Professional certification (PMP PRINCE2 or similar) is a strong advantage.
Strong leadership communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

Additional Requirements

Must provide a detailed portfolio of completed projects.
Strong stakeholder and client management abilities.
Willingness to undertake regular site visits and project coordination activities.
