The Production Quality Engineer is the primary quality focal for production and value stream support. Some of the primary responsibilities of the Product Quality Engineer include: Customer returned product investigation delivered quality corrective action and site wide read across non-conforming material review change review board support manufacturing improvement initiatives quality control and improvement initiatives (PPAP RTX-Zero) and new product introduction support.

What You Will Do:

• Ensuring successful product release through quality tools (ETQP PPAP MPR)

• Timely RCCA for product escapes

• FAI reviews

• Business process enhancements through continuous improvement initiative

• Nonconforming material review and approval

What You Will Learn:

• Leadership skills in a production environment

• Interviewing and hiring new employees

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

• Manufacturing experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Qualified candidates will need to be knowledgeable in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) including requirements derived from AS9145 and/or AS13100.

• Knowledgeable in the 8D process and review C/A plans with the product quality team

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
