Position Details:

Summary of Duties:

Responsible for reviewing patient records for completeness and accuracy and for following up with clinician to ensure all necessary documents are included in their patient files. The position will answer patients and staffs questions regarding patient records forms and related documentation. This position provides guidance to other staff members on auditing medical records. Responsible for processing internal and external records requests.

Additional Information:

This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.

Monthly Salary:

$3495 to $4653 Range 39 (Steps A-M) Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.

In accordance with
RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in business administration accounting industrial engineering or a related field; or high school graduation or equivalent and two years of experience in forms and/or records management.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

  • Demonstrated skill in attention to details.

  • Strong organization skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
