BGIS is a global leader in facilities management supporting clients across Defence Government Utilities Healthcare and more. Were looking for a Quality Specialist to help ensure high-quality maintenance outcomes first-time fixes and exceptional customer experience.
This is a highly mobile rolearound 80% of your time will be on the road completing scopes inspections and quality checks while working closely with trades and clients.
What Youll Be Doing
- Completing accurate scopes for maintenance and repair work
- Conducting quality assurance checks and work-in-progress inspections
- Identifying risks trends and issues and supporting improvement actions
- Providing coaching and feedback to contractors on quality and invoicing
- Ensuring compliance with building codes safety requirements SORs and BGIS processes
- Maintaining strong relationships with Kainga Ora trades and residents
- Completing required documentation and reporting accurately
What Youll Bring
- Experience in construction maintenance project delivery or quality control
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive change
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail and strong time management
- Ability to work independently and confidently on-site
- Competent using iPad/technology (Word/Excel preferred)
Desirable:
- Experience with Kainga Ora or social housing
- Additional certifications in auditing construction or safety
