This is a Hybrid - Phoenix Arizona based position.
Sonatafy Technology headquartered in Scottsdale Arizona is an award-winning nearshore software development company with a strong reputation. They have a dedicated in-house team of engineers offering end-to-end software solutions and supporting client development staff augmentation. Catering to companies of all sizes and industries including some of the worlds largest brands Sonatafy Technology is a trusted provider of nearshore enterprise-level cloud and mobile application software development services.
We are seeking a senior-level Executive Engineering Partner who is both Client-Facing and Business-Generating with a strong industry focus in Fintech or Healthcare and Life Sciences. Candidates with experience in other industries will also be considered. This is a high-impact leadership role that supports multiple Sonatafy clients and guides distributed engineering teams across the United States and Latin America.
This position requires a unique blend of technical strategy executive presence relationship-building and commercial acumen. You will serve as a trusted advisor to client executives drive technical direction and identify opportunities to expand business value.
What You Will Do
Serve as the senior Client Facing technical advisor across multiple client accounts
Provide architectural guidance product direction and long-term engineering strategy
Build high-trust relationships with CEOs CTOs VPs of Engineering and business stakeholders
Lead mentor and guide US and LATAM engineering teams through complex delivery challenges
Actively identify business-generating opportunities including account expansion and new initiatives
Conduct engineering assessments roadmap reviews and delivery maturity evaluations
Support modernization cloud transformation platform scaling data initiatives and AI adoption
Assist the sales team as a Client Facing technical expert during proposals scoping and presentations
Ensure alignment communication and predictable delivery across all client engagements
Help shape internal engineering frameworks tools and best practices within Sonatafy
What You Bring
Ten or more years of senior consulting engineering and client growth experience
A history of leading technical strategy and engineering direction across multiple client accounts or product lines
Demonstrated experience advising executive leaders and influencing high-level technical and business decisions
Ability to identify and support revenue opportunities through technical insight solution development and relationship-building
Strong industry background in Fintech or Healthcare and Life Sciences preferred but not required.
Proven experience in Client Facing consulting advisory or multi-client environments
Ability to identify and support business-generating opportunities through insights and technical leadership
Deep expertise in modern software architecture cloud platforms DevOps and scaling systems
Strong background leading geographically distributed engineering teams ideally spanning the US and LATAM
Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills
Strong ability to simplify technical complexity and influence decision-making
Ability to manage multiple concurrent client workstreams with clarity and structure
Nice to Haves
Experience advising startups mid-market SaaS companies or enterprise digital transformation programs
Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows such as GitHub Copilot
Broader industry exposure beyond Fintech or Healthcare
Thought leadership contributions such as speaking writing or podcast participation
