Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking a Document Controls Specialist to work on K-12 and Higher Education Facilities. This role is not remote and requires on site presence. Within this role the individual will be responsible to oversee the delivery of various scope projects for K-12 and Higher Ed building construction reconstruction and renovation projects as well as various MEP upgrades and sitework projects. MEP Superintendent will work alone or as part of a team and interact with clients design consultants contractors and various project stakeholders managing projects through their lifecycles specifically construction and closeout of contracts to ensure that projects are of high quality and delivered in the most expeditious efficient manner possible. We are looking for Document Controls Specialist in Philadelphia PA.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Tracks and keeps records of documents.
  • Follows standardized procedures but may have to use discretion to complete project.
  • Ensures document tracking and production system is maintained.
  • Prepares and maintains a document control system for all forms of documentation.
  • Makes copies of drawing for production and other company employees.
  • Assures that all completed documents have been signed-off by the appropriate personnel.
  • Distributes copies of documents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Implements and follows company quality assurance program procedures.
  • Manages activities involved in records management/document control and directs the overall document control activities of an office or department.
  • Develops Company policies and procedures.
  • Assigns and reviews office activities circumvents and resolves problem areas coordinates administrative workload leveling requirements coordinates and performs project personnel administration activities coordinates administrative functions and interfaces with clients vendors and the public.
  • Reviews and manages office invoices and budget.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS in Engineering Architecture Construction Management plus none or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements

  • Projects Experience in K-12 and Higher Education Facilities.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite AutoCAD and project tracking systems such as Procore or Primavera P6.

Additional Information :

  • This is a pipelining req for opportunities expected in the future - anticipated start date (contingent on award contingent on client) would be March 2nd 2026.
  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  • Relocation is not available for this position.
