Job Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to support insurance systems applications and users at Del Toro Insurance. This role serves as the first point of contact for technical issues related to insurance platforms policy administration systems claims tools and related software. The ideal candidate combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with an understanding of insurance operations and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support for insurance applications policy administration systems claims platforms and related tools
  • Troubleshoot system issues user access problems data errors and software defects
  • Log track and resolve incidents and service requests using a ticketing system
  • Collaborate with IT developers vendors and business users to resolve complex technical issues
  • Assist with system updates enhancements testing and deployments
  • Create and maintain technical documentation user guides and knowledge base articles
  • Train end users on system functionality and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations data security and internal policies
  • Monitor system performance and escalate issues when necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 13 years of technical support experience preferably in insurance or financial services
  • Familiarity with insurance processes (policy administration underwriting claims billing)
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
