Opening in early 2027 Omni Hotels & Resorts has officially broken ground and construction is well underway on Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita the brands first luxury resort in Mexico. Staying true to the brands mission of creating elevated places and spaces that are inspired by a destination the resorts exterior and interiors will pay homage to the local culture with a contemporary twist.
This beachfront resort will feature 244 guest rooms and suites and two 4-bedroom villas with sweeping views of the Bay of Banderas. Complementing the local areas many attractions and activities the resort will offer three original restaurant concepts a destination spa with 14 treatment rooms two retail shops multiple pools including adult-only and family-friendly options a state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor fitness center and a kids club. Boasting over 27000 square feet of meeting and event space the Omni Pontoque will feature a 6000 square foot ballroom an open-air pavilion multiple event lawns and dedicated meeting rooms all of which provide breathtaking ocean views.
Job Description
Opening in the early 2027 theOmni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mitawill be Omnis first owned and managed property in Mexico.
Ensure that all Group bookings are handled and processed efficiently and correctly through consistent interactions with the Sales & Convention Services Departments.Toassistthe Director of Sales & Marketing Director of Salesand Director ofNationalAccountsdepartments day-to-day activities when asked.
Responsibilities
Client & Director Support
- Provide assistance toDirectorof Sales & Marketing Director of Sales Director of NationalAccountsand other associates.
- Daily/weekly client engagementassistingDirectors with clientfollow upon outstanding items.
- Support moving business through the sales cycle by tracking responses toRFPs andassigning leads to managers.
- Assess immediate situations and the priority ofeach;delegate whenappropriateand provide independentfollow throughas.
- Understands Omni Hotels sales and business processes supports Corporate and property goals and contributes to enhancement of customer value.
Communication & Meeting Support
- Answer phones and direct calls toappropriate sales managerordetermineand perform the necessary action for incoming calls.
- Keep minutes for sales meetings and other important meetings.
Sales Systems & Data Management
- Enter sales opportunities into Delphi FDC; keepinformation current on each lead.
- Create and run reports inSalesForcePowerBIand SQL.
- Run Pipeline report and distribute.
- Learn andutilizeSales Force following all the standards for entering sales activity and lead generation.
- Maintainstrong systemhygiene by ensuring data accuracy consistency andtimelyupdates across all platforms.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare the End of Month Report that tracks office production for Directors.
- Review and process expense reports and audit invoices for accuracy and ensuretimelysubmittal.
Site Visit Logistics
- Assistto coordinate all site visitlogistics timelines and internal communications with Directors
- Arrange accommodations dining transportation and on-property experiences
- Prepare visit agendas presentations and supporting materials
- Liaise with internal departments to confirm availability and secure services
- Ensure brand standards and service expectations are reflected throughout the experience
