Description

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for designing implementing and monitoring a variety of human resource programs. Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management. Responsibilities are within the Human Resources Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.

Responsibilities

Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Partner with business in administration and interpretation of Human Resources policies programs and procedures
Liaise and collaborate with Human Resources Centres of Excellence to ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries
Work on specific projects with HR and Business Leaders concerning various HR needs
Assist and support in resolving employee relation issues; investigations research documentation and provide recommendations to HRBP/HRD
Generate reports and statistics and communicate information to appropriate HR and managers on a timely basis
Maintain corporate culture of excellence and enforce companys key values.

Qualifications

3 years of experience in the Human Resources field or supporting a Human Resources function
Post-secondary education in HR or related field
Unwavering commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality exercising good judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information and matters
Flexibility in dealing with multiple time-sensitive issues and rapidly changing priorities while maintaining focus and effectiveness
High attention to detail excellent organizational and time management skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
