This is a role for a creative highly organised and execution-focused professional who thrives on learning structure and contribution.Compensation: will range between $800000 and $120000 depending on education experience and capabilities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESHR Operations: Own the complete employee lifecycle to attract high quality technical talent: manage the logistics of sourcing recruitment testing onboarding and orientation offboarding. Employee relations: Act as a trusted guide for managers and staff for day-to-day employee relations performance documentation and policy matters. Manage legislative compliance and employee communications. Performance management. Implement and refine performance management and improvement programs. Staff engagement: Ensure employees remain engaged and enjoy a safe and supportive work environment.Training and development: Identify employee learning needs based on job performance and changing technologies and legislation. Implement cost effective and impactful training testing and development programsLegal and costing support: Liaise with external legal counsel and provide support for employment related contracts; contribute to HR costing and pricing of products projects and processes Leadership support and collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on HR matters; find creative solutions that balance costs compliance business needs and staff expectations.Requirements- Experience: A minimum of 6 - 8 years of progressive hands-on HR experience in a fast paced environment.
- Industry background: Experience in IT services telecom data centre or cybersecurity preferred. You must be comfortable working with data and digital tools and should be proficient in desktop Microsoft 365 applications.
- Communications: Excellent spoken and written communications skills in English are essential; a fundamental understanding of federal and provincial legal processes will be an advantage.
- Education: A degree from a recognised Canadian University or College; CHRP completed or in process.
- Numeracy: Numerical competence will be an advantage
