About The Opportunity

We are looking for an HROperations Specialistto join our Thomson Power Systems business unit (under Regal Rexnord) based out of Langley this position you will be a vital member of a small yet mighty HR team reporting to the HR Manager for our Langley location. This role is ideal for adetail-oriented systems thinker who isproactiveefficientandenergized by a high-paced environment. The successful candidate willdemonstratebalancingexcellent people skills with strong analyticaland technicalabilities.

Your responsibilities willfocus ondaily administrative and technical backbonefunctions within theHRteam. You willbe responsible formanaging crucial processes like payroll benefits HRIS (systems) compliance and onboarding/offboarding ensuring smooth execution efficiency andcomplianceto supportouroverall HR strategy anddelivering on positiveemployee experience.This isa great opportunityfor an individual who is passionate about innovation solving problems and is looking to grow their career in HR.

  • MaintainaccurateHRIS data employee records andsupport deliveringpeopleprocessworkflows whileidentifyingopportunities to enhance systems.

  • Administertime and attendance andbenefitsprograms with precisionsupportingprogram design and educatingemployees on available incentives and packages.

  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation internal policies and audit requirements while training managers and staff on HR procedures and SOPs.

  • Deliver responsive HR support by resolving employee inquiries guiding leaders through employee relations issues and coordinating seminars and development sessions.

  • Deliveronboardingand offboardingactivities by overseeing hiring processes partnering with managers and ensuringsmoothand consistent employee lifecycle experience.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years of HR experience; ideally within a manufacturing and unionized environment.

  • Experience working in a growing company or a business unit within a global parent company adeptly handling associated complexities.

  • Technically savvy experience with Microsoft Office products HRIS systems (Dayforce &Workday) with a demonstrated ability to learn andadapt tonew technologies.

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and proven ability to act promptly and effectively.

  • Continuous improvement mindset with the drive to seek out ways to streamline and improve HR processes and initiatives.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Trusted partner and advisor with a proven ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.

  • Demonstrated working understanding of employment laws and regulations.

  • Passion for customer service delivering best-in-class HR service

  • Exceptional communication skills providingtimelyupdatesand proactive feedback.

Expected Base Salary Range:

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the companys base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors including but not limited to the physical worksite location the geographic market of that location candidates skill set level of experience education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
