The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team on a part-time basis.
In this rewarding role you will play a vital part in ensuring patient comfort dignity and safety while contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Certificate III in Aged Care or Health Services who is passionate about providing high-quality patient-centred care in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist with patient manual handling using appropriate equipment and aides.
- Provide support to clinical staff and assist patients on admission to settle in comfortably.
- Assist with emergency responses as required.
- Clean and maintain equipment and patient areas in line with infection control standards.
- Carry out additional duties as directed by the Patient Transport Manager or hospital coordinators.
About You
You thrive in a busy hospital setting adapt quickly to changing demands and consistently uphold high standards of service and professionalism.
You will bring:
- Certificate III in Aged Care Health Services or Care Support (desirable).
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of infection control manual handling and safety procedures.
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and time management skills.
Highly regarded qualifications/experience:
- Currently studying Nursing (Year 2 or 3).
- Certificate IV in Health Services Assistance.

- Must provide or complete aNational Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
