Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting & Financial Management Maintain accurate general ledger entries reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements.
- MPC & Reporting Manage month-end quarter-end and year-end processes; assist with management reporting and variance analysis.
- Blockchain & Crypto Exposure Support accounting processes related to Bitcoin and other crypto assets; learn about and adapt to Web3 finance operations.
- Process Improvement & Controls Identify inefficiencies suggest improvements and enforce strong financial discipline.
- Collaboration Work closely with IT finance and operations teams in a fast-paced technology-driven environment.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education:
- BCom Accounting / Finance
- Experience:
- Experience in MPC financial reporting or general accounting advantageous
- Exposure to IT or tech environments is a plus but Web3 experience is not required
- Skills / Technical Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and MPC processes
- Advanced Excel / MS Office skills
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems advantageous
- Passion for IT blockchain and crypto technologies
- Other Non-Negotiables:
- Outgoing proactive and adaptable personality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced innovative environment
- Strong attention to detail accountability and integrity
