Job Summary
Job Profile: Production Supervisor
Location: Chhatral – Textile Industries
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning & Execution
- Plan daily weekly and monthly production schedules.
- Ensure smooth workflow in manufacturing printing inks binders emulsions and textile auxiliaries.
- Coordinate with QC and Lab departments for batch approvals.
- Batch Operations & Monitoring
- Supervise batch preparation mixing heating/cooling filtration and packing.
- Ensure correct raw material quantity as per batch sheet.
- Monitor parameters such as temperature viscosity pH and mixing time.
- Manpower Handling
- Allocate work to operators and helpers.
- Maintain discipline productivity and safety of workers.
- Train new operators on machinery and safety norms.
- Quality Compliance
- Maintain batch records and ensure all production meets quality standards.
- Coordinate with Lab Chemist for in-process adjustments.
- Implement corrective actions for any deviations.
- Inventory & Material Coordination
- Ensure availability of raw materials and packing materials.
- Raise requisitions when required.
- Minimize wastage and optimize material usage.
- Safety & Housekeeping
- Ensure use of PPE and compliance with chemical safety guidelines.
- Maintain clean production area.
- Report machinery breakdowns to maintenance.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain production logs batch sheets and daily summaries.
- Report daily output to factory management.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes (inks binders auxiliaries).
- Understanding of reactors mixers pumps and heating systems.
- Strong supervision and communication skills.
Education:
Diploma / . / in Chemical or related discipline.
Experience:
2-6 years in chemical ink resin or textile auxiliary manufacturing.
Preferred Background:
Candidates from similar industries such as Pidilite Rossari Archroma Indofil etc. are preferred.
