The Operation Supervisor is responsible for running the day-to-day schedule. This includes ensuring the resources being utilized to their fullest assisting with rescheduling/checking-out maintenance blocks and identifying any potential issues that may result in a resource not being fully utilized.
Essential Functions:
- Running the day-to-day schedule. This includes ensuring the resources being utilized to their fullest assisting with rescheduling/checking-out maintenance blocks and identifying any potential issues that may result in a resource not being fully utilized.
- Maintaining facilities. Manage keeping the facility clean and inventory stocked. Identify solutions to any issues pertaining to the facility. Seek out ways to make the facility more accommodating to students and staff.
- Assist the program manager in managing Zero Time to Airline students including their timeline ensuring hours are within limits assisting with scheduling out lessons and tracking overall progress.
- Coordinate with FBO and airport management regarding their relationship with the flight school.
- Work with the Director of Operations in managing long-term needs and goals for the location. Identify solutions regarding overall resource utilization.
- Manage invoicing and billing for students vendors and contractors
- Coordinate events and initiatives to maintain student moral and involvement with the industry. This includes assisting with scheduling airline visits lunches open houses and any other events deemed beneficial to the overall success of the location and organization as a whole
- ZTA set up book ordering backpack assembly new student communication
- Manage Rampers scheduling job assignments janitorial coordination and supply ordering communications with Airport Maintenance for building issues general supply ordering school walkthroughs
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working at a Flight School is a plus
- Must be able to prioritize multiple projects
- A strong communicator
- Someone who is resourceful and adaptable
- Friendly and cooperative
- Ability to work independently
