Task Responsibilities:
- Planning and executing sales and commercial activities to achieve corporate revenue tonnage and yield objectives.
- Cultivating and enhancing business relationships with freight forwarders consolidators cargo agents and other stakeholders in the assigned territory. (Austria and Hungary)
- Identifying and developing new customer segments including road feeder and offline channels.
- Negotiating mid to longer-term volume and rate agreements ensuring compliance with Cargoluxs processes and standards.
- Acting proactively on daily cargo requirements collaborating with the Country Manager Austria & Hungary and implementing defined actions.
- Communicating periodically with customers to ensure awareness of Cargoluxs network products value-added services and opportunities.
- Planning and executing periodic customer visits maintaining detailed CRM reporting for effective follow-up.
- Promoting and driving the adoption of Cargoluxs digital sales channels setting targets and providing valuable feedback.
- Preparing and presenting periodic sales growth plans for discussion with the Country Manager Austria & Hungary
- Safeguard adherence to setting sales processes in accordance with Cargoluxs standards and SOPs.
- Implementing structured measurements of customer performance and engage in right-sizing discussions.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a sales position
- Proven experience in air cargo sales or related field
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent written and spoken English and German skills Hungarian as an advantage
- Ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities
- Familiarity with CRM tools and digital sales channels
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of the airfreight industry and relevant market trends
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
Working Conditions:
- A Certificate of good conduct will be required in case of positive selection
- Frequent travel required within Austria and Hungary and occasional travel within the entire Cargolux network
