JOB OVERVIEW
A dynamic animal feed manufacturing company in Kumasi is seeking a detailed and organized Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator to join its team. The successful candidate will ensure efficient warehouse operations accurate inventory management and seamless coordination with procurement and logistics teams.The Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator will manage all aspects of warehouse operations including the receipt storage and dispatch of finished goods. This role requires maintaining accurate inventory records conducting regular audits and ensuring a safe and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented highly organized and proficient in inventory management systems and software tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving storing and shipping finished goods.
Maintain accurate records of inventory items update databases and generate reports on stock levels and movements.
Conduct regular inventory audits and investigations to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Ensure the warehouse is clean organized and compliant with established safety protocols.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Coordinate with vendors to schedule deliveries and verify the accuracy of invoices and purchase orders.
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and inventory control processes.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field.
23 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of inventory management software and Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent organizational analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
