We are seeking a HR Advisor to provide high quality support to our Human Resource Business Partners and Operational Leaders whilst also carrying a small employee relations case load. You will assist in building consistency and compliance across operations in collaboration with the HR Business Partners and strive for best fit HR processes within the organisation.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as the first point of contact for general HR inbox enquiries supporting leaders and employees.
- Support the HR Business Partners on policy interpretation employment legislation (eg Fair Work Act; National Employment Standards; Modern Awards) performance conduct and leave issues.
- Provide advice and coaching (with the support of the HR team) aligned with The CPL Way and contemporary HR practices to management staff and People Learning and Culture team.
- Manage a small case load of matters which may include investigating performance and/or conduct issues and ensuring it is in line with employment legislation policies procedures and
- Administer the effective utilisation of the Human Resource Information System and ensure maintenance of records and files.
Selection Criteria includes:
- HR tertiary qualifications preferred.
- 1-2 years generalist HR experience.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and HR practices
- Ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organisation in the supporting the resolution of HR issues.
- Demonstrated competence in problem-solving skills including sound research skills.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting HR continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Ability to manage competing priorities confidentially and professionally
- A valid C class driving license.
- Blue card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance to start (we can help)
