Summary
The Applications Development Analyst I is responsible for application design development enhancement maintenance and technical support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works directly with business customers and technical teams on assigned projects.
- Performs analysis design development and testing of business solutions.
- Analyzes designs and implements well-documented solutions for assigned features.
- Collaborates with technical teams to improve product functionality.
- Participates in code reviews quality assurance activities and practices.
- Stays up-to-date with application roadmaps relevant technology and industry best practices.
- Identifies and resolves application security vulnerabilities.
- Applies application patches and/or collaborates with other teams to ensure application stack is patched against known vulnerabilities.
- Supporting SAP S/4HANA applications within a private cloud environment (NS2) or on premise.
You Must Have
- Bachelors degree certification or 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelors or certification
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to work remote hybrid or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain if required for position a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
We Value
- Functional proficiency in the following: development and applications (e.g. SQL Python HTML JAVA).
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
- Demonstrated initiative to maintain technical currency through outside studies and training.
- Coursework or job experience related to:
- SAP S/4HANA & ECCmodule exposure (FI MM SD PP CO HR/HCM SCMEWM).
- Systems Analysis and Designmethodologies.
- ERP Systemsimplementation/simulation projects.
- University coursework or related job experience associated to SAP that includes: ABAP development BTP Integration Suite OData services SAC BW4HANA.
