Caterpillar is seeking a Maintenance SAP Planner/ Scheduler in North Little Rock this role you will support the planning and scheduling of the improvement projects for the North Little Rock facility.

What you can look forward to in this role:

• Primary Monitor Radio and SAP for incoming breakdown and repair requests
• Direct and ensure all Preventative Maintenance tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Responsible for updating and maintaining SAP system like adding new machines new users PMs coordinating training and any other additional tasks.
• Responsible for providing the Maintenance and Team Leaders with the monthly CPS data and other metrics generated from the SAP system.
• Act as the machine documentation manager for all current and future machines at the facility and maintain the current documentation in paper and electronic form.
• Act as liaison between facility management the maintenance group purchasing and crib personnel.

• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
• Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
• Mechanical/Machinery: Knowledge of machines and tools; ability to use knowledge of machinery or mechanical objects including their designs uses repair and maintenance.

Top Candidates for this position may also have:

• Use of AutoCAD 2D modeling for floor plans
• Experience in a mechanic shop and / or fabrication shop
• Experience managing inventory
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook Word PowerPoint and/or Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to move projects forward
• Experience with creating and implementing standard work

The primary location for this position is North Little Rock AR.

Summary Pay Range:
