Overview
- The Jewelry Associate Designer / PD supports the end-to-end creation of jewelry collections from concept through production.
This role partners closely with Merchandising Sourcing and Vendors to deliver trend-driven high-quality execution and cost-effective assortments that align with brand strategy and seasonal direction.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Product Development
- Support the full PD lifecycle from initial concept through final sample approvals.
- Partner with the manager to translate sketches and inspiration into technical specifications and product briefs.
- Assist in designing jewelry collections from spec pack to final prototype with the target customer and price point in mind.
- Review samples and make recommendations for design proportion and finish adjustments.
- Participate in product reviews to ensure design integrity brand alignment and quality consistency.
Trend & Research
- Research seasonal trends color stories and materials to bring fresh revenue-driving ideas to life.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging jewelry techniques to inspire innovation.
- Stay current on new materials finishes and construction methods that can enhance design quality and efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Merchandising and Sourcing to align timelines costs and design intent.
- Manage and track sample development to ensure on-time delivery.
- Support vendor communication feedback and revisions as needed.
- Prepare presentations and assist in seasonal reviews and trend decks.
Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in jewelry or fashion accessories design/Product Development.
- Strong creative sense with technical understanding of materials plating and construction.
- Excellent organization follow-up and communication skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Positive proactive and collaborative mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator Photoshop and PowerPoint; familiarity with Miro is a plus.

- Clean communication and alignment between design sourcing and merchandising.
- Strong understanding of the customer and ability to translate trends into commercially viable designs.
Compensation Range: $59670.00 - $79560.00

All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. The final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience education certifications skills and geographic location.
