As a Quality Specialist in the Quality Control team within Private Banking Operations you will play a key role in reviewing and auditing credit and legal documentation to ensure compliance with procedural and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with colleagues across International Private Banking and Private Banking America identifying trends and driving process improvements. Your expertise will help protect the bank from potential credit losses and support our commitment to operational excellence. You will have the opportunity to contribute to projects training and communication initiatives that enhance quality and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and audit credit and legal documentation prepared by outside counsel for accuracy and compliance
- Interpret firm policies and compliance requirements for integration into company systems and procedures
- Maintain a risk and controls mindset challenging the status quo and identifying process efficiencies
- Communicate issues or discrepancies found during quality reviews for timely correction
- Identify patterns and trends in quality review results to address root causes
- Follow up to ensure corrections are made in systems or escalate issues to management as needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process and procedure enhancements
- Participate in projects related to quality improvement and training initiatives
- Conduct peer work reviews and offer suggestions for process improvements
- Take ownership of internal communication and status updates to all involved parties
- Interact with varying levels throughout the organization and manage work pipeline to completion
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Bachelors degree or relevant experience required
- Four years of experience in a related position
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks through effective prioritization
- Understanding of credit concepts and sensitivity to business risk
- Strong organizational interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented and results-driven
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Experience in reviewing credit product loan documentation
- Ability to identify and address process inefficiencies
- Willingness to take ownership of communication and follow-up tasks
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Experience using Credit Risk Infrastructure tools and applications
- Prior exposure to traditional credit products
- Experience in process improvement or quality assurance projects
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in financial services
- Ability to train and mentor peers
- Experience working in a global organization
- Advanced problem-solving skills
