Job Summary

We are looking for a strategic and ambitious senior leader who can help shape the future of revenue management: drive revenue growth across our iconic hotels and brands nurture high-performance teams and shape emerging capability and be at the helm of sector-leading technology as we roll it out across our global operations.

As Director of Revenue Management New Zealand & Fiji you will lead a team in delivering strong revenue & market share performance to achieve business goals. You will ensure capability and strategy at each hotel is in place to optimize performance and market share. You will collaborate with the regional leadership team delivering performance across the portfolio of hotels develop our revenue community of practice internally and externally and identify and inspire talent growth. You will prioritize recognition comprehensive support and career development amongst your team and receive the same in turn as you grow your career as a Heartist.

You will;

  • Lead the revenue management team and develop robust revenue strategies for your region.
  • Collaborate as part of the regional leadership team
  • Drive long-term business plans and manage the revenue management budget process for your region
  • In collaboration with operational and commercial leaders lead region wide meetings reviews with hotels and performance management
  • Ensure quality usage of all Accor technology platforms data and business intelligence
  • Communicate performance across the business unit identifying risks opportunities and activity required for the hotel portfolio to deliver on budget and market share goals
  • Oversee the topline revenue forecasts review and provide feedback to hotels and manage forecast accuracy goals for the region including ensuring compliance to forecasting standards
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with hotels to deliver topline performance.
  • Mentor coach and develop junior team members in revenue management practices and expectations
  • Drive initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and sustainability efforts.
  • Collaborate with commercial finance and operational leadership teams to drive the regions performance.
  • Drive market share performance across all hotels in your region and support hotels communication review action plans and levers.
  • Develop an evolving culture of understanding and best practice in the changing distribution landscape including effective lever management across B2B and B2C partners.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Marketing or similar 
  • A minimum of 7 years experience in a senior strategic role within Hotel Sales Marketing or Revenue Management  
  • Experience leading and managing a team to achieve results 
  • Confident and articulate communication negotiation relationship and networking skills 
  • Thorough understanding of Ideas Revenue Management System highly desirable
  • Understanding of optimal market mix and strategic levers within hotel industry 
  • Thorough understanding of all hotel market segments and current trends 
  • Experience in development and execution of business development strategies  
  • Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Office Suite and dedicated sales revenue & distribution platforms.
