Job Summary
This role patterns their leadership after the example of Jesus Christ strengthens those they lead effectively administers Seminary and Institute (S&I) programs in an assigned geographic area and builds unity with others. This is a people manager position. The person ins this position should have a strong background and experience in learning teaching training communication managing resources and helping others to grow in their performance and development. The work of this role is to help youth and young adults deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and His restored gospel qualify for the blessings of the temple and prepare themselves their families and others for eternal life with their Father in Heaven.
Responsibilities
- Interface with the area director stake-called teachers HQ staff and management priesthood leaders parentsand students and manage the affairs of all assigned programs
- Build and maintain relationships of trust with priesthood leaders
- Train stake-called leaders:Provide in-service training to called seminary and institute teachers and stake supervisors. Teach S&I priorities and improve teaching skills of called teachers
- Personally visit and invite youth and young single adults to attend seminary and institute classes
Regularly visit seminary and institute classes to support teachers observe teaching provide feedback for improvement
- Manage and administer record keeping finance training and related duties
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (any field)
- Demonstrated/ proven ability to teach and administer class effectively
- Years of professional/management experience
- Exemplarymodel of gospel living
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in computer skills
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Teaching and/or training experience (experience in teaching seminary and/or institute is an advantage)
