We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to support the Director Student Experience. This busy and rewarding role provides confidential and high-level secretarial and administrative support services within a busy and dynamic environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional and experienced Executive Assistant with a proven track record in delivering high-quality services and output at a senior level.

You will be working as part of the Divisional Services and Administration team flexibly providing administrative services across the University. A strong customer service orientation and commitment to continuous improvement initiatives is critical to your success.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
Being the first point of contact for the Director Student Experience anticipating needs and assessing and prioritising requests for urgency.
High level diary management correspondence meeting administration and project assistance.
Troubleshooting and initiating action to facilitate resolution and problem solving.
Drafting preparing coordinating and reviewing information high-level communication and documents on a range of matters.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in an ever-evolving environment. You will have proven experience as an EA or in a similar role ideally within a higher education or large organisational setting.

Executive Assistant roles are part of the Divisional Services and Administration Division a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for delivering outstanding student and staff experiences through high quality confidential operational management and administrative services. We are a strong supportive whakawhanaungatanga (community) proud of the work we do as the largest workforce in the university spanning every corner of the motu.

This is a permanent position located in Ōtepoti Dunedin.
Hours of work will be a minimum of 26.25 per week (0.7FTE) but hours up to and including full-time may be possible on negotiation for the right person. Hours must be worked Monday-Friday with a start time between 8.30 and 9am. Please indicate in your application what hours you are looking for.
The appointment range for this role is $75631 to $80503 per annum pro rata. Top of the range is $87750 (pro rata).
