Job Opportunity: Locum Plastic Surgeon in Des Moines IA
Join a dynamic healthcare facility at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center where you can make a meaningful impact! We are currently seeking a talented Plastic Surgeon to fulfill a full-time need. Experience a supportive work environment with a commitment to patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide trauma call and ER consultations.
- Conduct in-office consultations and procedures.
- Collaborate on reconstructive surgeries particularly with breast surgeons.
- Engage in patient care for both surgical and cosmetic patients of all ages.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) system primarily Epic.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Plastic Surgery (Required).
- Active Iowa License or Active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) (Required).
- Must have prior experience in the specialty (Required).
- Clean malpractice history and no background issues (Required).
- Availability for either 7 on/7 off schedule or 2 weeks on 2 weeks off (Required).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Plastic Surgery.
- Active IA Medical License or current IMLC license.
