As a Locum Radiologist you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. Your expertise will directly impact patient care and you will collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to enhance the overall quality of our medical offerings.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiological procedures including X-rays MRIs and CT scans
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies and provide accurate reports
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Educate patients and families regarding imaging procedures and results
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology and imaging technology
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- State licensure to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction
- Associate-level experience in Radiology or a related field
- Proficiency in various imaging modalities (X-ray MRI CT)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex imaging results
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Setting: Remote
Daily Volume: 17 scans
Case Mix: CTs US X-rays and mammo (optional)
Workstation required
PACS: Roentgen Works
Must be board-certified
