Were looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team based out of our Market Rasen and Newark stores covering the surrounding territory.

This is a full-time field-based role where youll work closely with farmers and agricultural businesses helping them thrive through tailored advice and access to our full portfolio of feed fertiliser and farm supplies.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Grow and nurture a portfolio of key accounts and prospects in your territory.
  • Deliver expert on-farm advice to help customers improve profitability and sustainability.
  • Promote our full range of agricultural products and services with confidence and credibility.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver joined-up solutions that benefit our customers and the wider Mole Valley Farmers Group.
  • Track and report on sales activity customer engagement and market opportunities.
  • Lead with insightfrom nutrient management plans to precision technologies youll help shape smarter farming systems.

What Youll Bring

  • A strong background in agricultural sales with a hunger to exceed targets.
  • Deep understanding of UK farming practices and empathy for the challenges farmers face.
  • Commercial acumenable to structure deals use finance tools and close high-value sales.
  • Interest in precision farming and innovation or experience in farm management.
  • Self-motivation excellent time management and a proactive approach to territory coverage.
  • Solid IT skills and confidence using digital tools to support sales.
