About the job:
Job Purpose & Objectives
As part of the Equity Derivatives Trading team price and manage the risks of the client driven Asia-Pacific activity.
Key Responsibilities
Manage trading book and trading positions
Have a good understanding of markets and dynamically hedge risks against various potential market movements
Pricing of exotic equity derivative products on Asia Pacific and global equity underlyings
Mark and monitor the quality of implied market data parameters such as volatilities and dividend curves
Closely work with Sales Trading Sales and other Trading desks
Carry strong emphasis on risk management and perform thorough risk assessments on a regular basis
Comply with regulatory contractual and internal rules and regulations
In cooperation with headquarter automate pricers and trading tools to improve efficiency and develop the desk capabilities
Report on performance and potential issues to direct management and more generally support management as and when required
Job Specifications
Qualification & Experience
Master degree in Finance and or Engineering
Experience in the Equity Derivatives industry is required
Knowledge & Skills
Strong mathematical and quantitative skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong programming skills
Language
Fluent in English
Other Skills (e.g. Interpersonal Communication etc)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Customer-oriented
