Job Description:

J&J MedTech China is the market leader in China and a significant contributor to the global MedTech business. Given competitive market dynamics healthcare reform initiatives acceleration of digital health and the speed of local innovation the role is expected to navigate these new challenges and opportunities. The individual will closely partner with global/regional key stakeholders to shape and drive China strategy and business model transformation to continue Chinas growth trajectory and deliver competitive and profitable growth.

This critical Finance leadership role will serve on the J&J MedTech China leadership team and directly support the company President on a wide range of strategies and business performance topics. The role reports to the CFO MedTech Asia Pacific and servers on the Regional Finance leadership team.

Responsibilities include:

Leadership and talent development for the Finance function with additional scope to supporting teams. Connecting all parts of the finance service delivery model with the aim to continuously optimize its functioning.
- Drive talent agenda and future capability building within MedTech and cross sector in close collaboration with China Finance Council.
Cross functional business leadership at the local board level.
Strategic & operational Finance support e.g. delivery and analysis of financial performance assessing and quantifying risks and opportunities for the business.
- Responsible for coordination of the Business Plan Strategic Plan and financial updates setting financial targets and monitoring execution.
- Liaison with business and cross function leaders to ensure attainment of key performance metrics and financial results.
Establishing a strong compliance environment. Delivering compliant results in accordance with GAAP and Johnson & Johnson Worldwide Procedures.

The position is based in Shanghai China.

Financial Controls and Reporting

Corporate governance - mapping the Companys critical business processes and risk.
Oversee the management and coordination of all financial reporting required by laws regulations or internal demands reviews and annual audit for China. Ensure the accuracy integrity and timeliness of financial reporting and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
Actively engage with auditors to ensure issues are addressed early and financial reports for the Company are prepared timely.

Budget and Forecast

Oversee the Companys budget and work plan including actual performance control.
Prepare the Companys short-mid-long-term forecasts.
Analyse and provide financial insights of commercial operational financial opportunities on Company results.

Performance Management

Analyse and provide financial insights of commercial operational financial opportunities on Company results.

Team management

Professionally manage all the Companys finance teams provide objectives guidance and performance follow up.
Develop talents succession plan and training.

Compliance

Steward of the compliance in China.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree or Equivalent
15 years of finance experience with experience in execution in a business unit setting
Fluent English speaking welcome candidates with diverse background
