Key Responsibilities - Provide individual family and group counseling
- Deliver trauma-informed LGBTQ affirming and evidence-based therapy
- Conduct intakes assessments treatment planning and diagnosis
- Maintain accurate client files treatment notes and agency-required documentation
- Participate in program planning team supervision and case collaboration
- Communicate regularly with collateral contacts including schools police and referral sources
- Respond to crisis situations including 24-hour emergency support as needed
Required Qualifications - Masters degree in Social Work Counseling Psychology or a related human services field
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois: LSW LCSW LPC or LCPC within 2 years
- Experience or strong interest in LGBTQ affirming therapy and trauma-informed care
- Flexibility to work evening and/or weekend hours as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic diversity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Valid drivers license and proof of insurance
