Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking X-Ray Technologist (02 Years Experience) Contractfor an exciting job in Long Island City NY.

Duties & Responsibilities

Establish rapport with patients to identify needs reduce anxiety and explain procedures.
Prepare and position patients for radiologic exams; adjust equipment and controls to achieve proper exposure.
Practice radiation safety protocols including use of beam restriction shielding and appropriate exposure techniques.
Follow infection control policies to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Produce quality radiographs by adhering to imaging standards and evaluating results for necessary adjustments.
Document patient care and exam completion accurately within departmental systems.
Perform equipment maintenance troubleshoot issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
Monitor and maintain inventory of radiology supplies.
Stay current with regulatory CME requirements and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Support departmental operations and contribute to team objectives.
Complete annual age-specific competency requirements.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

02 years of experience (new graduates encouraged to apply).
Valid New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T).
ARRT Certification required.
Strong competency in diagnostic imaging procedures.
Excellent communication teamwork and patient-care skills.
Ability to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Education

Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
