Job Scope
This Key Account Manager role is a strategic role for the DiaSorin India entity. You are responsible for creating and promoting the Brand Image and commercial success of the product range in the Hospital Lab Chain Sector via key customer colleague and industry interactions. The Account Manager is the interface between the customer and DiaSorin senior commercial leaders balancing the needs of both to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for the company and the customer. This AM is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives consistently growing the business year over year as well as achieving budget. Compliance to policies and procedures such as our CRM and forecasting are critical to role success. The role works effectively with other teams such as Marketing Logistics and Service. The AM provides proposals for review and manages the existing customers whilst hunting for ideal new customers in this market segment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage a network of accounts and customers in line or exceeding budget expectations
- Collaborating with staff and resources to achieve the above
- Forecasting budgeting and reporting CRM administration
- Outstanding customer satisfaction
- Strategic advice to management on industry or customer trends and activities
- Business/customer retention and contract management
- Business growth new customers
- Participate in pre-marketing and new products launch activities including pricing
- Collect and consolidate market information to help drive innovation and customer satisfaction
- Work in conjunction with Technical Support and Quality to deliver and control customer satisfaction outcomes and complaints reporting.
- Develop/maintain key relationship in laboratory or hospital networks
- Evaluations/Trials overview with Product Management/Specialists
- In person and virtual support of the national team
- Co-Calls with marketing service management effectively managing these for the customer
Education Experience and Qualifications
Education / Specialization:
- Tertiary qualifications in science and experience in laboratory operations especially hospital lab operations is preferred. Additional qualifications in business commerce marketing is an advantage.
Experience:
- 10 years successful working experience in multinational companies
- 10 years successful professional experience as Business Account Key Account Manager
- 5 years professional experience in Diagnostic or Research Laboratory preferably Immunology
- Strong positive relationships with senior decision makers in the industry
- Demonstrated experience presenting to customers and colleagues
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of the laboratory processes and workflow/challenges
- Familiarity with the interface of software applications and instruments platforms
- Immunoassay and related techniques
Skills:
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Emotional and Social Intelligence
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Seasoned Experience using Microsoft Power Point Word and Excel
- Flexibility and ability to liaise with different organizational areas and key internal and external referees
- Very strong written and verbal English language
Attitude
- Passion for the customer experience
- Helpful with customers and colleagues
